Message
from Our President
I am constantly humbled by
the privilege to serve as your president. With
that privilege comes an awesome responsibility for I
understand the legacy upon which we lean and the
shoulders upon which we stand. This year, we are
endeavoring to honor the principles and accomplishments
of our predecessors while working to ensure that our
prosperity is protected. Essential to that vision
is the participation of our members, our partners, and
our peers in the professional community. In a
word, our success depends on YOU.
Although some
are intimidated by the current economy, I firmly believe
that our circumstances can often be our greatest
inspiration. Whether a solo practitioner, public
servant, legal educator, seasoned partner, or first-year
associate, we are all expected to aggressively pursue
the best interest of our clients or students.
Similarly, when those in need of legal counsel seek a
voice or demand a vision, we should meet the needs of
the community with nothing less than our very best.
